Six-step diagnosis
- Step 1: Hard reset: Unplug power cord, wait 60 seconds, plug direct to wall outlet to clear transient false jams.
- Step 2: Inspect tray and stack: Pull tray, confirm no staples, curl <5mm, height below fill line, guides snapped to size detent.
- Step 3: Spin pickup roller by hand: Should NOT free-spin 360° (clutch engaged); surface must feel matte, not mirror-smooth.
